Fitness equipment has traditionally been designed for a dedicated room. Metal frames, dark technical finishes and visually heavy structures may feel appropriate in a commercial gym, but they rarely sit comfortably within a carefully considered interior. NOHrD changes this relationship, creating training equipment that can remain visible without making the surrounding space feel like a fitness facility.

Designed and manufactured in Nordhorn, Germany, its products combine genuine training performance with the proportions, materials and finish of well-made furniture. Solid oak, ash, cherry and walnut replace the conventional industrial vocabulary, giving each piece natural warmth and individual grain. Stainless steel and aluminium are introduced only where mechanical precision is required, while selected upholstered elements use leather tanned and finished in Germany.

This material approach allows NOHrD equipment to become part of the room rather than something that must be concealed after use. A rowing machine, exercise bike or strength station can sit naturally within a living area, private office, hotel suite or wellness space. The equipment retains its purpose, but its visual presence is quieter, lighter and more architectural.

The portfolio covers cardio, strength, mobility and functional training, making it possible to create a complete exercise area within a consistent material language.
