GIULINI

Italian tapmaking shaped by colour and living materials
Founded in 1966, Giulini is based in Pogno, in the province of Novara, an area closely associated with Italian tapware production. The company’s collections move easily between contemporary minimalism and more decorative, classical forms, reflecting almost sixty years of technical and manufacturing experience.
The range covers the bathroom and kitchen as a whole, from mixers and concealed controls to shower systems, thermostatic solutions, wellness products and coordinated accessories. This makes it possible to carry the same design and finish across every functional area of a project.
Colour is one of the clearest expressions of Giulini’s approach. Alongside its metallic finishes, the company can produce tapware in any RAL colour. A mixer can match the furniture, continue the tone of a wall or create a deliberate contrast within the room. It becomes part of the material palette rather than an element selected separately.
A different side of the brand appears in MATERIA VIVA, a project based on untreated natural brass. The surface reacts to air, water and touch, gradually developing darker, warmer tones. Instead of remaining visually unchanged, each piece records the way it is used and acquires its own patina.
MATERIA VIVA includes VIVO, designed by Marco Poletti. Its fluid body is paired with handles of different forms, giving the collection an intentionally varied character. Three treatments, Naturale, Glam and Decò, explore the same material through polished, lightly textured and more pronounced mechanical finishes.
Giulini brings two unusual possibilities into the same portfolio: complete freedom of colour and natural brass designed to change over time. One offers precise control over the project palette; the other allows the material to develop an identity of its own.
